Sandi came to the States when she was 10 years old from a farm town in Jamaica. Sandi comes from a family that normally works with their hands, from seamstresses, to bakers, to farmers but she beat the odds in so many ways with the help of her grandmother’s wise advice.
Sandi’s grandmother would always say: If you don’t control your own destiny you’ll always be broke.
Sandi’s escape from the corporate world and controlling her destiny meant to become an entrepreneur.
Covid now, was the 9/11 then.
Sandi has learned to pivot in any industry she’s in as the world turns. As an immigrant entrepreneur, once 9/11 happened she was already planning on her escape from the corporate world.
She first started investing in houses and renting them out, but later launched a business with her business partner “Consultants 2 Go” which she had great success in leading 200 employees. They sold the company recently and now she’s working on something completely new and exciting on her own.
Something that is done and launched is better than something that you never even tried to do.
Even if it’s imperfect, go ahead and launch it.
