Alisa was born in Romania at the time where Romania was nearing the communist regime. Although growing up, communism was over a lot of people were still living the communist mindset.
They could not rely on the purchasing power to buy food or things, because there was none on the shelves. Given that experience, Alisa was able to bring some of the post communism experiences into her entrepreneurial journey.
Alisa’s immigrant entrepreneur journey didn’t bring her to the United States, she immigrated to United Kingdom where she was joined by her boyfriend.
Although Alisa was set on a government sector career path she took a career aptitude test and it surprised her in many ways. The test told her that she sould be in the financial/business industry. So she switched gears and absolutely loves making an impact on the world.
