Your mind tells you that images on social media are there to conceive your acts. And it conceives at its highest potential. Your mind will tell you to buy things, and to eat things when you really shouldn’t be moments after seeing enticing images off food and stuff.
Social media will silently try to expose you in ways where nowadays, teens are committing suicide from the envy, jealousy, bully, and rude comments that they read.
Your thought process about some people will be changed after sifting through their feeds.
Your mind will tell you twisted things that are not true about yourself after seeing images of others that are taller than you, shorter than you, slimmer than you, or might have better features than you.
Your mind doesn’t know the difference between the big paid advertisers or your friends’ posts so it doesn’t matter if your friend posts an image of her purse, your mind will trigger you to buy it.
After wasting some time on social media, your mind will put you into guilt. It will trigger sensations of regret, and acts of shamefulness because all that time was wasted. It will tell you that you probably shouldn’t be wasting your time on social media, but focusing on your dreams and goals instead.
However, the next day, your mind will tell you that you’re missing out, and you must check in to see what’s new. You can’t allow yourself to miss out any big news so you get sucked into social media throughout your work hours, your gym sessions, church, meetings, family get togethers, and throughout your precious moments in life.
