Can you really thrive online without social media presence? YES! Of course you can!
Here are some ways you can engage in your community without having a social media presence.
Create a MeetUp
Create a MeetUp community for your industry and gather like minded folks together. There are some powerful things that can happen when you get together to solve problems, to brainstorm, and to engage in powerful topics.
Do talks at local businesses
If you offer a business solution, start emailing/calling local companies and ask them for 30 minutes of their time for you to come in and chat about your line of work.
Partner up with churches
If youâre involved in a local community church, reach out to the pastors and seek for their guidance on how you can launch your product in their church.
Blog
Blog about everything you know and use keywords to get searched on Google. Blog about your industry every single day. Become on fire to post at least a few sentences a day. Long blogs are time consuming but easy and short ones can get simple content out there for the world to see you!
Go to events
Go to live events and mingle. Share it on your blog and your email list about what you learned and who you met. If you volunteer, you can truly network behind the scenes!
Create virtual live events
This one is super fun. Virtual events is something that people look forward to. If youâre on Zoom you can have âbreakout sessionsâ where people can mingle and talk about your suggested topics.
Get on the news
Can you feature your new product through your local news mediums? Is there a success or a transformation story that you can share via the news stations? Pitch it to them and see what happens!
Create a podcast
A podcast can be intimidating, but just like anything else.. once you get the hang of it, it becomes a powerful tool to share success stories, to empower your community, to teach and serve your people.
