Perfection will never be achieved and there is no point of chasing it.
If actors would’ve waited until they were completely ready to be in movies, they would’ve never made it to their first movie set.
If Steve Jobs was waiting until he perfected his invention, the very first iPhone would’ve never been released.
If Walt Disney waited until he perfected his cartoon movies, there would’ve never been any Disney movies. In fact, he’s known to have several bankruptcies until he finally reached his stepping stone innovating cartoons in color.
If Oprah Winfrey would’ve waited until she perfected her talk show host expertise, she would’ve never waken up at 5:30am for 25 years to appear on her show.
Perfection is the biggest lie that we tell ourselves. It will never allow us to grow and propel our innovation and creativity. Our careers, businesses, hobbies will continue to be stagnant until you forget about perfection in its’ entirety.
It’s not out there, and it’s not waiting for you to come grab it.
You can’t keep trying to perfect your life, because that life doesn’t exist. Work with what you have and make the absolute best out of it.
It’s one thing to be the best in your market, to be the best in your career, to be the best in your class, or fitness, but perfection will never be attained.
The thought of waiting to be perfect to compete in fitness competitions, or to start applying for a new job until you take just one more training course, or get one other degree, or to learn one more project/task, until you decide to move forward is not a healthy environment to be in.
If you want to be victorious, change your mindset to allow your mind tap into new horizons that have never been touched before.
