Simple living goes beyond the color of your clothing, the amount of possessions you own, and recycling goods. Simple living goes deeper than the frugal living we practice, and the eco-friendly products we buy.
I will go over the simple living habits that you can do on a daily basis that will transform you.
Thoughts.
We can live a frugal live, be a minimalist, and be extremely health conscious, but if we have thoughts of negativity roaming in our heads on a daily basis, we are not living in a healthy state of mind.
It’s so powerful to filter our thoughts and know that God is always on the throne. He will never leave you or forsake you.
Productivity.
We can simplify our life to the bare minimum but if we are spending our time browsing social media and watching the news on our free time, are we really being productive?
After reading a bunch of books, the powerful tool to be the most productive self ever is to write down our goals on a daily basis. Writing down goals is sooooo powerful and it’s always taken for granted. We can practice simple living but if we are not being productive and wasting our life by watching other people live their lives on a screen, we are not allowing ourselves to be the best we can be.
Value.
Another simple living habit that will transform you is to do only the things that bring you value in your life.
We have to understand that excess amount of possessions does not bring us value. Do you find value in reading books, walking to the park, or is your value worth in watching TV all day? Is your value found in browsing the internet without any purpose?
Adding.
There’s a complete notion of removing, removing and removing things out of our lives. Everyone is talking about removing negativity, removing toxic relationships, removing excess weight on our bodies, removing debt, etc. The simple living habits are about adding the healthy and intentional things into our lives.
For instance, recently, I added a daily walk to my routing in the mornings. Instead of going through the notions of “removing” my sleep and then thinking about what I can add in that time frame, I went ahead and added a healthy exercise to my morning routine.
So you want to simplify your expenses? Let’s talk about how you want to be financially free, and paying off debt will be the by-product of that decision.
