Going the extra mile is lightly taken these days.
I went into a Jamba Juice one afternoon and saw a large crowd. When I walked up to the register to place my order I asked about the wait since I didnāt have much time. The gal who was taking my order said, āIt would take about 20 minutes… but you know what, Iāll pull your order and make it myself.ā
She sure did, and whipped my smoothie out fairly quickly.
She doesnāt own the Jamba Juice, and she couldāve easily turned me down and no one wouldāve known.
That made me remember her name, her face and that precise demeanor towards someone sheās never seen before.
So, thank you Rebecca for showing me that going above the ānormā of customer service still exists. Thank you for showing me that I need to step it up and break some rules if needed to leave a lasting impression.
Breaking the borders and limitations of a serving heart will always be remembered.
Thank you for showing me that every once in a while people can toss out their terms and conditions, their return policy, and the normal business practices to serve the people individually.
