Are you the same person on social media verses what you are in real life?
The human nature is to aspire to be like someone else on social media than that of ourselves. Humans look up to people and envy their lives and what they have. So we tend to model their lifestyles and behaviors to build a version of ourselves that is not us.
You can edit anything you want on social media. You can edit the images, your posts, hashtags, and comments. But do you live the same life in reality? Are you living that perfect life in the images of your followers?
Will you continue to chase someone else’s life on your feed?
Do you post images to portray a perfect, happy and healthy lifestyle when in reality you haven’t gone to the gym in ages?
Get rid of that second version of yourself and start embracing the life the way you desire it to be in reality. Not in virtual reality.
The art of life should be in taking in every precious moment that’s given to us. Don’t take it for granted and throw it into social media for approvals.
You don’t need approvals from other “followers” to live an exciting life.
