Life can be really hard but when you start doing something hard it becomes so easy. Human beings have a continuous effort to over exaggerate everything in their lives.
When we were dropped off as a child at school on our first day, we were clueless and blind to the obstacles ahead of us. We didnāt know what that scary world will look like and we were fearful.
We figured it all out by asking the questions from teachers and fellow mates.
But when we were dropped off at high school, our problems grew exponentially. Our mountains grew so tall we couldn’t see the tops. Somehow we managed to climb those mountains to the top and graduate from high school.
Then, for some we went off to college and for others went off to the āreal world.ā Oh my. Now those mountains became unattainable, untouched by mankind and no one has ever seen the tops of the mountains.
We resisted and didn’t want to look for our first job.
When we look back at our very first interview we were sweating cats and dogs. We were fearful and speechless. But somehow the interviews surprisingly went fabulous. We got our first real world job.
The first day on the job was dreadful. We thought that we will not go past the first week of work. Somehow every mistake might get us laid off or fired. We had an urge and passion to be the best and we were thriving.
Then we realized, that the real world, after all, is not that bad. We got in the groove and now we feel comfortable.
But before getting there, it was so hard to even apply for a job. Before getting there, it was dreadful to go on the interviews. We were shy, nervous and out of place.
Somehow, we figured it all out.
So, any task that you take on, just know that it is not hard.
You just have to take the first step. You have to take the initiative, seeks for answers, seek for solutions and you will figure it all out.
I have a finance degree, I knew nothing about web designing or blogging. I never took a course on web designing and never had anyone in my family to show me how to do it.
It was really hard for me to begin this journey but somehow, I managed to figure it out. Now, any task that I take, I have to remind myself that I can and will figure it out.
There are solutions for you everywhere you look.
I have emigrant parents. They migrated to the U.S. with 3 small children. My mom was 36 years old and my dad was 32. They came to a country knowing absolutely nothing about this country and absolutely little English. They never came to visit, to scope out the country and see if all is well here. They came with mountain tops in their vision and not knowing how it will all play out.
Little by little the mountains grew to small hills that were hopped over. That was 27 years ago and my dad has held a successful business on his own for over 20 years.
I have no idea how they managed to pick up their small kids and go to a foreign country. But again, I’m just human. I know that I can do that as well, if I allowed myself to.
Decide that your next task will not be a mountain that has an unforeseen top, but rather gushing flows of rivers filled with opportunities.
Donāt overthink it, and donāt make it too difficult on yourself. Get over the hurdles by doing the first step.
Let’s create rivers of successes and humility. Rivers of divine protection and provision.
